Preventing Plastic Pollution

Keeping Rivers Plastic Free

Working in partnership through the EU Interreg Funded Preventing Plastic Pollution project, OART has 16 sites across the catchment where the accumulation of plastic is monitored, recorded and removed from river. Undertaking brand audits to understand the sources of plastic pollution enables us to work with local businesses to reduce their environmental impact.

Everyone can get involved keeping their local river clean whilst adding important information to our evidence base on plastic pollution in the catchment.
