We would love your help at Twineham to improve the river Adur, by creating natural wet woodland. Special Branch Tree Nursery have donated over 200 trees to help us with this work and we need to get the trees in the ground was soon as possible.

Woodlands located on the floodplain slow flood waters, which can help to delay or stagger the peak flow and decrease the impacts of flooding.

We will meet at the farm at 10am and walk down to the work site, where you will be able to see some of OART’s other project work, including the new backwaters and berms in the river.

It is very wet on site, so please wear wellies. We will be providing tea and coffee and all the tools needed for this task and you will be covered by third party insurance while you are working
