On Wednesday 21st September we’ll be returning to Vuggles Farm for another session tackling the invasive Parrots Feather that’s growing in the old meander on the West of the river Ouse. This perennial aquatic weed quickly dominates slow flowing water and out competes native species.
Wear old clothes and wellies (waders would be very useful) as we’ll be raking and hand pulling weed in the water. You will also need a packed lunch if you intend to stay for the afternoon. All tools and equipment will be provided and you will be covered by third party insurance.
Please let us know if you’d like to come along by emailing: email@example.com
