On the afternoon of Sunday July 5th a family friendly festival – Railway Land Live! – will be marking the first anniversary of the creation of the Brighton and Lewes Downs Biosphere and showcasing the amazing variety of work that goes on at the Railway Land Wildlife Trust in close partnership with Lewes District Council.
The festival will have something for everybody, with activities ranging from the use of underwater webcams and guided walks around the Railway Land Local Nature Reserve to demonstrations of the way Minecraft has been used to engage young people with the site. Alongside this, an art exhibition by Lil Tudor Craig, puppet shows and live music mean that a lively afternoon is on the cards
